Keanu Howarth
Paralegal
Keanu is our Paralegal Extraordinaire who is also a qualified Justice of the Peace. He was recently sworn in at the Brisbane Magistrates Court, just in time for his flight to Osaka. He has his sights set on being sworn into the Supreme and High Courts in future. Keanu has a keen interest in property law and is currently completing his qualifications to hold a license in both real estate and conveyancing.
Keanu has a strong sense of justice, and a quiet peaceful manner that has a settling effect on those around him. Clients have benefitted greatly from his attention to detail, highly analytical mindset and great problem-solving skills which has led to the discovery of previously overlooked material during trial prep on several occasions.
Keanu currently divides his time between Australia and Japan due to family and work commitments. When he is not working or travelling, he looks after his two younger siblings, making sure they have a healthy dinner and get to school on time. Keanu is drawn back to Japan for their internet speeds but says he returns to Australia for the Cheesecake shop.
Keanu prefers the cold winter season over any hot summer day and cannot survive without ice in his drink. Being a typical Gen Z and growing up in a fully digital and globally connected world, Keanu survives his off-work hours by gaming. He currently plays Rust (survival open world) and Dark and Darker (dungeon crawler RPG). He can be coaxed out with promises of a good iced milk tea, chess or the driving range.
