Akemi has nearly 10 years of professional experience working as a registered nurse in Japan. Akemi provided excellent patient care at a busy city hospital by managing communications between doctors, other nurses and hospital staff in a wholistic approach to healing - which she still believes in and practices to this day.
Akemi was responsible for end to end patient care which started from the initial intake interview (pre-op) to particularised post-op care in the specialised orthopaedic ward. Akemi also trained newly graduate nurses to be able to run files independently.
Akemi's bright and cheerful disposition lifts everyone's spirit up, even on our toughest days. Her open and caring nature means most people are immediately comfortable talking to Akemi, benefitting both our clients and our staff members on a daily basis.

Akemi's experiences moving from a busy life in Japan, to a charmed life in Cairns, to a simple life in the mining towns around Western Australia means she always has a unique perspective on how to navigate work, life and motherhood. Akemi has a love for alternative healing and inner self care which she applies to all her interactions with others.
